Mallory: In L O V E

This is one of those posts where the “Sisters” part of our blog title shows its relevancy. From my memory, Courtney has always had a knack for gift-giving. Too often my inclination when it comes to holidays or birthdays is to wait until the last minute and cover my behind with a gift card. So impersonal, I know. I hate it, too.

Courtney (and truly, my whole family) has never been this way. Her gifts have always been personal and well-thought-out, even if they don’t arrive exactly on the day of the occasion. I still carry the white leather tote purse from Banana Republic she gave me for Christmas three years ago to work every day. Back in April, Court gifted me these Scrabble-inspired pillow cases for my birthday. Obviously, I L O V E them.

I’m inspired to do better with my gift-giving. Now that we’ve started this blog, my sisters can probably expect lamps, coffee-table books, vases and framed art when Christmas rolls around!
